I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. I have illustrated twelve books, including Jennifer Richard Jacobson’s Winnie series (Houghton Mifflin) and Noel Streatfeild’s Shoes Books (Golden Books/Random House.) I wrote and illustrated NEIL’S CASTLE a picture book with Viking Press, which was translated into Korean.

I illustrated poetry for Cricket Magazine and YA short stories for Cicada magazine, including ‘the April Witch’ by Ray Bradbury.

I live in Western Massachusetts in a house designed by my architect husband. There I can be found drawing, reading, writing, and doing the particular arithmetic of parenting three young children.
